A few shots from the Indianapolis MotoGP in 2010. These were shot with an 8MP Olympus E-System camera, and what was considered a really decent zoom lens. Looking back on “old” digital camera photos like these, I’m amazed at how far the technology has progressed in the last decade.

Here are a few shots, out of around fifty that I liked, from this November 2016 shoot. The lighting was challenging, the venue was unfamiliar, but we still pulled it off. Lighting in Tucson is not like San Francisco. Unless you are very lucky it’s a bit harsh and unforgiving. The kids were well-behaved, and the family was photogenic.
